The Pickin’ on the Plains Bluegrass Festival is a three day event held the third weekend of July at the Thomas County Fairgrounds. A full slate of local and Midwest area band perform under an air-cooled canopy Friday evening, Saturday and Saturday evening and Sunday when the day begins with a Gospel sing-a-long and cowboy church.
