Get ready, Colby! One of the biggest weekends of the year is almost here. On Friday, August 21, and Saturday, August 22, downtown Colby and Fike Park will come alive as thousands of visitors gather to celebrate the annual Sunflower Festival.

Whether you're a longtime local or visiting for the very first time, the Sunflower Festival offers something for everyone. Throughout the weekend, you'll find live entertainment, unique vendors, mouthwatering food, family-friendly activities, local shopping, and a community atmosphere that truly showcases the best of northwest Kansas.

As one of the area's premier annual events, the festival transforms downtown and Fike Park into a vibrant destination filled with music, laughter, and excitement. Stroll through vendor booths, enjoy live performances, grab a bite from local food vendors, and experience the welcoming spirit that makes Colby such a special place to visit.

✔️ Book your hotel early – Rooms fill up quickly during festival weekend!

✔️ Wear comfortable shoes – You'll be doing plenty of walking between downtown and Fike Park.

✔️ Bring sunscreen and a water bottle – Kansas sunshine can be beautiful (and warm!).

✔️ Come hungry – From food trucks to local restaurants, there are plenty of delicious options to enjoy.

✔️ Shop local – Take time to browse our downtown boutiques and vendor booths. You might just find the perfect souvenir!
