The Convention Center offers success for all types of events including conventions up to 500 people, trade shows, banquets, family reunions, weddings and receptions, rehearsal suppers, anniversary parties, bridal or baby showers, graduation and holiday parties, as well as small meetings and conferences. Any non-profit organization in search of a public meeting room is welcome at the Pioneer Memorial Library. This room can comfortably seat 45 people; however, if you require more space, their downstairs meeting room allows for 130 individuals to attend the meeting. The Pioneer Memorial Library also offers video conferencing equipment for those who may have webcasts or live face to face conferences. Reserve a room and/or video conferencing equipment by calling the library ahead of time.

Located inside the main museum building, the Garvey Educational Room is available year-round for business meetings, family reunions, club meetings and other receptions. The education room can hold ninety chairs and twenty tables that are available for use. There is a portable PA system with one lapel mic and one hand-held mic, a podium and a projector and screen. In addition, the room allows wireless internet access and also a 55" 3D smart TV. The TV has wireless connectivity and Apple TV to allow for the use of all laptops and computers, tablets, iPads, and other electronic devices. The Prairie Museum is pleased to offer free admission to all guests who attend events in the Garvey Education Room.
