From June 5th–7th, Colby will once again transform into a hub of music, energy, and connection as the sounds of bluegrass take over the plains. But this isn’t just about the music (although trust us—it’s incredible). It’s about the full experience.

It’s lawn chairs lined up under wide Kansas skies. It’s the steady rhythm of a banjo carried through the breeze. It’s strangers becoming friends, kids dancing barefoot, and that feeling that you’re exactly where you’re supposed to be.

Pickin’ on the Plains is raw, real, and full of heart—and this year, every single moment is about to be captured and shared in a whole new way.

Because we are beyond thrilled to announce that Christopher Kirkham will be right here in Colby for the entire weekend.

Not just stopping by.

But fully immersed in the experience—June 5th through the 7th.
